A member of Iran's parliamentary delegation to Bahrain said in order to pursue the resumption of diplomatic relations between Iran and Bahrain, the embassies of the two countries will soon resume their activities.

Iran PressMiddle East: Elham Azad, a member of Iran's parliamentary delegation to Bahrain, said that during the meeting they had with the speaker of the parliament of Bahrain on the sidelines of the 146th Assembly of the International Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) meeting, the speaker said he would pursue resuming relations with Iran in meetings with the government of Bahrain and especially the foreign minister.

Within the framework of these follow-ups, the embassies of Iran and Bahrain are going to resume their activities soon, so that they can work with each other on regional issues in a stronger way and achieve good communication and good things happen in the region, Azad cites as the Speaker of the Bahraini Parliament said.

The member of the parliamentary delegation of Iran to Bahrain, referring to the request of the Bahrainis to restart the airline to Iran, noted that in the meeting with the Bahrainis, there were discussions, including the establishment of an airline between the cities of Manama-Tehran and Manama-Mashhad so that Bahrain Shias could travel to Mashhad to visit the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS).

Today, in his press conference, the foreign minister announced the resolution of the differences between Tehran and Manama, as well as the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
