Tehran (IP)- Within the week ending on May 5, 2023, the IME witnessed a trade of 3,074,495 tonnes of commodities and 475 vehicles with a total trading value of more than 691 million USD.

Iran PressIran news: According to the IME's International Affairs, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,608,233 tonnes of commodities worth more than 454 million USD.On this floor the IME sold 1,197,197 tonnes of cement, 890,000 tonnes of iron ore, 379,188 tonnes of steel, 129,500 tonnes of sponge iron, 8,205 tonnes of copper, 6,325 tonnes of aluminum, 740 tonnes of zinc, 230 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate, 60 tonnes of precious metals concentrate and 475 vehicles.

Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 452,585 tonnes of commodities valued at nearly 226 million USD.Commodities traded on this floor included 158,164 tonnes of bitumen, 107,989 tonnes of polymeric products, 78,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 46,000 tonnes of lube cut, 38,358 tonnes of chemicals, 8,732 tonnes of petroleum products, 8,120 tonnes of sulfur, 6,219 tonnes of base oil, 1,000 tonnes of slops wax, 470 tonnes of insulation and 200 tonnes of gas feedstocks.The IME also traded within the same week 13,677 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
