Iran Press/ Middle East: The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized in his meeting with the group of the Syrian scholars and Ulema in the Bilad al-Sham:
"The duty of the intellectuals and elites of the Islamic world, especially the scholars of Syria, is to enlighten the people of the region about the continuous atrocities of the United States and the Zionists."
Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Republic of Iran, in continuation of his two-day trip to Syria, on Thursday met and discussed with the Muslim scholars and ulema of Bilad al-Sham at the presidential palace in Damascus.
According to Iran press news agency, the president said in this meeting: "Accords such as Camp David, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Oslo, since they were unfair agreements, could never secure the interests of the Palestinian nation."
President Raisi added:" Today, when the structures are in the hands of the unjust global system, the duty of the intellectuals and elites of the Islamic world, especially the Syrian scholars, is to explain the facts, including enlightening the people of the region about the continuous atrocities of America and the Zionists."
The President added: "As the Islamic Republic of Iran stood by the Syrian people during the fight against the Takfiris, Iran's plan for the reconstruction of this country continues in terms of economic, commercial, and security cooperation and the construction of Syria."
Raisi emphasized: "Syria's territorial integrity will ensure security in this country and the entire region. In addition, the presence of the US in any part of the region foments insecurity.
