Iran Press/ Iran news: The delegation was officially received by Mohammad Beheshti Monfared, head of the Iranian Organization on International Bodies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Razavi Khorasan, at Shahid Hashminejad International Airport.
While welcoming the delegation of Saudi Arabia, Beheshti Monfared expressed hope that with the activation of the diplomatic missions of the two countries, The relations between these two important Muslim countries in the region should be expanded and the nationals of Iran and Saudi Arabia should be able to travel to the Islamic Republic of Iran as in the past.
In this meeting, Nasser bin Awad Al-Ghannoum, the head of the Saudi delegation, appreciated and thanked the officials of the Iranian Foreign Ministry for the warm welcome and the facilitation of the Saudi delegation's trip to Iran.
He expressed his hope that the revival of relations between the two major Muslim countries in the region will bring blessings and increase cooperation between the countries of the region.
The delegation of Saudi Arabia visited its embassy and diplomatic missions last week, and in turn, the technical delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in a bid to make preparations for the reopening of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Riyadh, Iran's Consulate General in Jeddah and Iran's diplomatic mission at the Organization of the Islamic Conference, traveled to Saudi Arabia.
