Tehran (IP) - The Iranian President said that Iran and Algeria have close and common positions on regional and global issues, especially on the issue of Palestine and the rights of the oppressed people of this country.

He pointed to the recent crimes of the Isaeli regime against the Palestinian people, adding: "Today, more than ever, the necessity of cooperation and the formation of a united front of Islamic countries against the Israei regime and the firm support of the Palestinian nation is felt.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also expressed his satisfaction with the growing relations between the two countries of Iran and Algeria and expressed hope that the cooperation between Tehran and Algiers, especially in the economic and commercial fields, will expand and improve day by day.

Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of Algeria, congratulated his Iranian counterpart and the Iranian nation on the holy month of Ramadan and said: "Oppressed people of Palestine are suffering from the brutality of the Zionist regime during the month of Ramadan, which is the month of piety and worship.

According to this report, the presidents of the Islamic Republic Iran and Algeria emphasized the need to take practical steps based on the roadmap for the development of mutual cooperation.
