Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who has traveled to Russia, told the reporters on Tuesday evening upon his arrival in Moscow:
"The window to Iran's nuclear negotiations, known as the JCPOA, is still open and one of the topics to be talked about with "Sergey Lavrov", the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, will be the JCPOA and the return of the parties to their commitments."
Besides, defense cooperation is one of the topics on the joint agenda of Tehran and Moscow, while cooperation between Iran and Russia will not be against any side., according to Iran's FM.
The developments in Syria, Afghanistan, the Caucasus, the South-South Corridor, and the Caspian issue are also among other topics on the agenda in the Lavrov-Amir-Abdollahian upcoming meeting.
In his assessment of the relations between Iran and Russia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran stated:
" The various cases of relations between the two countries have been fully activated in various fields and both sides are satisfied with the progress of relations in all areas of cooperation in line with the interests of the two nations and the two countries."
