Tehran (IP) - Within the week ending on March 17, 2023, the IME witnessed the trade of 3,288,561 tonnes of commodities and 90 vehicles with a total trading value of nearly 755 million USD on its physical market.

Iran PressIran news: According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange saw on its metals and minerals trading floor trade of 2,915,092 tonnes of commodities and 90 vehicles valued at nearly 555 million USD.

On this floor, the IME sold 1,579,641 tonnes of cement, 786,000 tonnes of iron ore, 343,601 tonnes of steel, 115,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 71,300 tonnes of zinc, 12,232 tonnes of copper, 11,150 tonnes of aluminum and 270 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate.

Furthermore, the IME witnessed on both domestic and export rings of its oil and petrochemical trading floor 357,496 tonnes of commodities worth nearly 189 million USD.

Commodities traded on this floor included 107,161 tonnes of bitumen, 89,882 tonnes of polymeric products, 70,000 tonnes of vacuum bottom, 43,000 tonnes of lube cut, 41,491 tonnes of chemicals, 3,746 tonnes of base oil, 2,800 tonnes of sulfur, 776 tonnes of petroleum products, 290 tonnes of gas feedstocks and 70 tonnes of insulation.

The IME also traded within the same week 15,972 tonnes of commodities on its side market.
