Rome (IP)- Israeli Prime Minister's visiting Italy in the midst of intensifying internal protests in Israel, has sparked another World protest in Rome.

Iran PressIran News: The recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of Israel, as well as trying to align the Italian government with the anti-Iranian policies of Israel, are Netanyahu's most important priorities in his three-day trip to Rome and meeting with Italian officials, especially Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.

As Netanyahu arrived in Rome, tight security arrangements have been conducted in the Italian capital.

Hundreds of Italians and Palestinians living in Rome protested Netanyahu's visit to the country by gathering near the Italian Prime Minister's Palace.

The protesters were holding Palestinian flags and banners that read, "We are anti-Zionist, not anti-Semitic", "Stop sending weapons to Israel", "Free Palestine", and "We oppose the terrorism of Israeli soldiers and settlers".

Speakers in the gathering announced that last year, Israeli soldiers killed more than 220 Palestinians, and in the first two months of the current year, the number of Palestinian martyrs has reached 78, condemning the silence of Western authorities and human rights claimants. They called the crime of the Zionists shameful.

Mrs. Luisa Morgantini, the former Italian deputy of the European Parliament, who was present at the rally, in an interview with IranPress correspondent on the ground, emphasizing that Netanyahu has a record full of crime and corruption, added: We are here to protest Netanyahu's visit. The Italian government should not have agreed to this criminal's trip to Rome.

Morgantini emphasized: We support Palestine and their rights. They have the right to self-determination and the right to life, land, and the right to freedom.

The former deputy of the European Parliament noted: We are determined to try Netanyahu in the international court.

Also, on Friday, dozens of Israelis living in Rome gathered in protest against Netanyahu's decision to judiciary overhaul in Israel.
