Tehran (IP) - The Deputy Minister of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran announced that the trade between Iran and Pakistan reached 2.5 billion dollars.

Iran PressIran news: Mehdi Safari said that cooperation and trade between Iran and Pakistan have increased significantly in recent months.

The amount of exports from Iran to Pakistan is only 350 million dollars in agricultural items, and this amount for Pakistan is 650 million dollars, Safari said.

The reason for the growth of exports and trade between the two countries is the preparation of infrastructure such as border markets, customs, and the new transportation routes, Safari highlighted.
