Tehran (IP) - "The issue of 84% uranium enrichment in Iran" has been successfully settled. There is nothing to speculate about anymore, Mikhail Ulyanov Permanent Representative of Russia to International Organizations in Vienna tweeted.

Iran PressEurope: "Met today with the Permanent Representative of Iran H.E. Mr. Mohsen NAZIRI ASL," Ulyanov also wrote in a new post on his Twitter account.

"We compared notes in connection with the forthcoming visit of the IAEA Director General Mr. Rafael Grossi and the session of the IAEA Board of Governors which will start its work on March 6," the tweet reads.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has rejected accusations that the country is enriching uranium to 84 percent purity, asserting that there has been “no deviation” in the Islamic Republic’s peaceful nuclear activities.

Mohammad Eslami made the remarks on Wednesday after the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said in a confidential quarterly report that it had detected particles of uranium enriched to 83.7 percent during an inspection of the Fordow nuclear facility on January 22.

“Regarding the 84% particle, which was a sample from the side of a tap in the process, the particle cannot be even seen with a microscope. What is important is the amount of material that is stored after production,” he explained.
