Tehran (IP) - The 38th edition of the Fajr Music Festival in Iran was wrapped up on Friday at Tehran's Vahdat Hall, with the best works awarded.

Iran PressIran News: The 38th Fajr International Music Festival opened in Tehran on February 17. While the capital hosted over 30 musical bands from across the country, foreign musicians also found an opportunity to go on stage.

Over 2,000 musicians took part either in the competitive “Barbad Prize” section or the noncompetitive pop, traditional and orchestral music sections.

Alireza Iftikhari, Dawood Ganjaei, Seyed Mohammad Mirzmani, Hadi Azram, Majid Akhshabi, Amir Hossein Samii, Mohsen Nafar, Hoshang Javid, Mahmoud Salari, Mohammad Allah Yaari, Mehdi Salem, Majid Pourahmadi, and a number of other artists are among the faces present at the closing ceremony.

In the first part of this program, the "Children of Iran" anthem group, led by Mehrad Saeed, performed a number of national-patriotic pieces of Iran for the audience.
