Iran Press/ Iran news: Concurrent with the day to mark the Prophet Muhammad's first revelation (PBUH), on Saturday morning, a group of state officials, representatives and ambassadors of Islamic countries, and guests participating in the international Quran competitions were received by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Prophet Muhammad; God's greatest gift
In the meeting, the Leader of the revolution said: "I congratulate Eid al-Mab'ath to all the people of Iran and all the Muslims of the world and to all the righteous people of the world, who will definitely be fascinated by the call of the Revelation if it reaches the hearts of the righteous people of the world. The sending of the Great Prophet (PBUH) is the greatest gift that God has given to all mankind but no blessing, no gift is equal to the greatness and significance of the Prophet's revelation. The reason is that revelation carries treasures for mankind. These treasures are inexhaustible. These treasures can provide human happiness in his own life, in this life of this world until the hereafter."
The Leader noted: "There are thousands of precious treasures in the Qur'an and the teaching of Islam, these have been brought to us by the Prophet's revelation. Some Muslims do not know these treasures at all, some of us deny it, and we blaspheme these great divine gifts. Some of us are proud of those treasures, but we do not act. The result is that the Islamic world is divided, backward, and scientifically and practically weak. The result is this. In one era, Muslims were able to create the greatest civilizations of their time by acting imperfectly not thoroughly, by using these huge treasures. We can overcome the weaknesses of the Islamic world by referring to these treasures gifted to us by the Prophet's revelation."
Iran supports Palestinian nation in any way
The Leader of the revolution further said: "If the Islamic states had stood firm on the issue of Palestine from the first day, they stood and resisted, certainly, the situation in the West Asian region, our region, was a different situation. Today we were stronger, we were more united, today was better than for us in various ways; Well-wishers said at the same time. The situation would have been better if we entered the scene from the first day. Today, the Islamic Republic openly speaks the minds of the oppressed Muslims of Palestine. We speak the truth out loud. We support and defend the Palestinian nation and we say that we defend, we defend the Palestinian nation in any way we can. This has caused the enemies to concentrate and start Iranophobia."
Muslims should cooperate in Türkiye, Syria earthquake
Referring to the recent earthquake in Türkiye and Syria, Ayatollah Khamenei said: "Muslims should cooperate and empathize all parts of the Islamic Ummah need to cooperate with each other. Problems arise. Now look at this devastating earthquake that happened in Syria and Türkiye, well, this is a difficult incident. This is the task of all Muslims. It means that everyone should really feel pain, feel suffering from such things."
