Beijing (IP) - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran described China as the reliable business partner for Iran, which can benefit from the capacity of cooperation between the two countries on the path of Iran's development.

Iran PressAsia: In the past years, Iran and China have expanded their relations in three macro-levels, including political-economic, security-defense and geopolitical-strategic, and the signing of the 25-year strategic document was an important step towards completing this process. For this reason, Ebrahim Raisi, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the head of a high-level economic and political delegation, has visited China at the official invitation of the Chinese President Xi Jin Ping.

On the second day of his visit to Beijing on Wednesday, in the presence of representatives of dozens of large Chinese economic companies, Ebrahim Raisi evaluated the negotiations conducted during this trip as very positive and asked the economic companies of the two countries to take great strides by using the appropriate capacity created for the development of cooperation.

Raisi added: "There are many untapped capacities in both countries, and both presidents emphasized using these capacities to further promote cooperation."

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran further announced the agreement with the President of China on joint efforts of the two countries to confront unilateralism, and referring to the economic, social and cultural capacities of the two great civilizations of Iran and China, saying: "Iran considers China a reliable business partner and believes that it is possible to take advantage of the cooperation capacity of the two countries on the path of Iran's development."

Referring to Iran's unique economic and geostrategic capacities and the very important role that Iran plays in trade in goods with Central Asia, the Caucasus and Europe, Raisi added: "Chinese companies can use these capacities to exchange goods and also invest."

Furthermore; in this meeting, economic and commercial issues were discussed between the economic activists of Iran and China.

Dozens of senior managers of Chinese companies in the fields of industry and mining, energy and transportation were present in this meeting, and trade routes with Iran, investment and promotion of mega projects were the main focus of the meeting.

On the second day of his trip to China, Raisi attended Peking University on Wednesday morning and received an "honorary professorship" from this university; the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran then attended the meeting with the top intellectuals and elites of China and explained the views of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the field of international relations, multilateralism and the new world order.
