Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian announced Iran's opposition to the war in all dimensions and the war in Ukraine in his opening remarks at the 'Sixth Conference on the History of Foreign Relations'.

Iran PressIran news: Amir-Abdollahian added: "We have expressed our positions about the war in Ukraine clearly and repeatedly. The accusations that Western countries raise are completely baseless. Iran and Russia, like Iran and other countries, have diverse cooperation, including cooperation in the field of defense, but we have been and are against the war in Ukraine and anywhere in the world."

He added: "Iran considers diplomacy and political negotiation the only solution to regional and peripheral crises and the crisis in Ukraine. We are not on the side of any in the war in Ukraine."

Iran's top diplomat said: "While paying attention to the roots of the war in Ukraine, Iran defends the territorial integrity of the parties, including Ukraine, and does not recognize the separation of Crimea and other regions from the country, and we continue our efforts to stop the war and find a political solution."
