Tehran (IP) - Iran's health minister said that the country and Armenia are going to develop a cooperation framework between the two countries.

Iran PressIran news: Iran's Minister of Health Bahram Eynollahi met with Anahit Avanesian Armenia's Minister of Health, here in Tehran on Saturday.

After the meeting, Eynollahi said in a press conference: "It was decided to appoint a working group to develop a cooperation framework between the two countries, and the group can develop memorandums that Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran must sign."

The Iranian minister said: "It was also decided to exchange more delegations between Iran and Armenia so that we can take practical measures to strengthen relations between the two countries, especially in the field of healthcare."

The Minister of Health of Armenia also called the relations between Tehran and Yerevan deep-rooted and said: "These relations develop every year. Health is an area where it is easier to develop cooperation based on it. Because doctors all over the world speak the same language."

Iran and Armenia have always cooperated. Today, we agreed that a working group will be formed to prepare a text to compile all the fields of cooperation between the two sides, including education, treatment, medical equipment, exchange of professors and students, and doctors, said  Anahit Avanesian.

Both in Armenia and Iran medicine is progressing rapidly and all innovations will be applied in our activities. It is important that we can continue our activities together, the Armenian minister highlighted.
