Tehran (IP) - The 24th International Story-Telling Festival kicked off on Sunday, in Yazd Province, central Iran, with the slogan 'Story is the voice of life'.

Iran PressIran news:  The Deputy Head of the Center for the Intellectual Development of Child and Adolescent for Cultural Affairs Mahmoud Moravvej delivered a speech in the opening ceremony and called the festival the most social event in Iran. 

The Executive Manager of the festival Aliyeh Ghavami said that the world's second city was hosting the international event.

Ten narrators from across the world will attend the 24th edition of the International Storytelling Festival to share tales from their folk cultures during the Iranian event.

The 24th International Story-Telling Festival continues until January 19.
