Iran Press/ Iran news: In an interview with IranPress, Bishop Grigor Chiftchian, the leader of Tabrizi Christians, congratulated the new year and wished a prosperous year for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He appreciated the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and told IranPress that Ayatollah Khamenei's guidelines have caused Christians to perform all their rituals in Iran in complete peace and solace.
Bishop Chiftchian said: "The new year must refresh our hearts to make us much more ready and aware to serve Iran." Orthodox Christians celebrate the new year ceremony on January 6.
