Yazd (IP) - Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrives in Yazd on Thursday morning as his administration's provincial tours and inaugurated the operation of the second water transfer line from the Persian Gulf to the Yazd province

Iran PressIran news: Upon his arrival at Yazd Shahid Sadooghi Airport, Iran's  President Ebrahim Raisi was received by officials of the city.

Iran's President at the airport said that reaching out to the people of the underprivileged areas in Yazd will be on his agenda in his 2-day visit to the historic city in the post-Covid era.

Developing underprivileged areas in Yazd on the agenda

Upon his arrival at Yazd Shahid Sadooghi Airport on Thursday morning said that besides meeting the high-ranking officials he is going to arrange a public meeting.

He went on to say that he is going to pay a visit to the impoverished and underprivileged areas in the historic city of Yazd to get to know the need of the people and their problems in person.

President also called the people of Yazd brave, patient, and educated people and expressed hope that they will continue the very same old path.

It is the second tour of the President to Yazd province.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi will address the people of Yazd in the historic square of Amir Chakhmaq, during his 2-day tour.

Inauguration of the water transfer project 

President Raisi inaugurated the operation of the second water transfer line from the Persian Gulf to the Yazd province project in Yazd on Thursday morning.

One of the most important events on this trip is the start of the operation of the second water transfer line from the Persian Gulf to Yazd province, which will be carried out in three years with the capacity of an annual transfer of 200 million cubic meters of water to dry province.

Despite maximum pressure; Iran won't stop further progress 

Iran's President said that despite the enemies' failed Maximum pressure policy orchestrated against Iran, there are wills of iron who don't want Islamic Iran to be stopped and succumbed to them.

Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the water transfer project from the Persian Gulf to the central plateau of Iran, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that despite enemies' efforts to put Iran as they claim under maxim pressure, the enemies themselves confess that they have failed to do so.

President Raisi said this is because of the existence of the iron resolutions and wills speaking out in the war of the wills that they do not want to succumb and to be stopped.

He further said that people's felicity will make us happy as well.

President Raisi further explained that the water and other developmental projects inaugurated today serve as proof of the fact that our will is that we do not want to be stopped and we want to have a prosperous country.
