Iran Press/ Iran News: "When we say housewife, we don’t mean a woman should sit at home & do nothing, and that she should not get involved in social work or political activities," Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's Twitter account tweeted.
"No, being a housewife means taking care of one's home, & alongside that, she can do any other work that she is able to manage," the tweet reads.
It is truly impossible to manage a family without a woman being present and her endeavors, it added.
"Sometimes there are problems in a family that cannot be resolved without the gentle presence of a woman. No matter how strong and capable a man is, he cannot solve some of these problems," the Official page of Ayatollah Khamenei tweeted in a thread.
