Tehran (IP) - Ministry of Information and Communications Technology of Iran announced the launch of at least 2 Iranian satellites into space.

Iran PressIran News: Isa Zarepour, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology, announced that at least two satellites will be launched into space by the end of the current Iranian year (1401) and other satellites are in line to be launched.

On Monday, Zarepour referred to the latest launch status of Nahid 1 and 2 satellites, saying that these two satellites are being prepared.

Nahid 1 was designed and built for the first time in the country at the Institute of Satellite Systems of the Iran Space Research Institute under the supervision of the Iran Space Organization.

Nahid 2 satellite is also one of the satellites with telecommunication technology and capable of performing maneuvers and orbital corrections and will be an important step in the construction of low-altitude telecommunication systems.
