Tehran (IP) - The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament condemned the issuance of the South Korean Parliament's interventionist statement and its support for rioters and terrorist elements.

Iran PressIran news: The National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament, in a statement on Saturday, condemned the issuance of an interventionist statement of the South Korean parliament in support of the rioters and terrorist elements, requesting Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to reconsider the relations between the two countries in various fields.

The statement added: "This action of the parliament of the Republic of South Korea, while this country has long blocked the property and huge financial resources belonging to the people of Iran in line with the anti-Iranian policies of the White House and refuses to return them to the Islamic Republic of Iran."

It said: "South Korea, in line with anti-human policy and terrorism treatment, at the peak of the spread of the coronavirus and the Iranian people's dire need for vaccines and essential drugs to control this disease, in full alignment with the sanctions policies of the White House and against all international humanitarian conventions prevented the Islamic Republic of Iran from having access to the necessary medicine and facilities to control the disease."

In the statement, the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament emphasized: "Undoubtedly, the continuation of Seoul's anti-Iranian policies in line with the actions of the White House against the Iranian nation will affect the relations between the two countries in various fields in the future, and the Iranian Parliament will take the necessary measures from its legal and regulatory capacities to fulfill the rights of the Iranian nation.
