Malaysia (IP) – Iranian deaf futsal team overpowered Kazakhstan 1-0 to become the champion of the 1st DIFA World Deaf Futsal U-21 Championships 2022 in Malaysia on Friday.

Iran PressAsia: Iran faced the Kazakh team in the final match, beating them 1-0 to win the title.

Sajjad Nadimi scored the goal, bringing about victory for Iran.

Mehdi Karamali (goalkeeper and captain), Mohammad-Hassan Abdollahi, Masoud Barnak, Abolfazl Ebrahimi, and Alireza Nasirinejad played for Iran.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan defeated the host, Malaysia, 11-6, and ranked third in the world.

Iran had beaten Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, and Uzbekistan to reach the final match, which was held on December 5-16 in Malaysia.
