Iran Press/ Iran News: Referring to the efforts of the United States to annul Iran's membership in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, Ahmad Khatami said: "Iran values women the most. Real freedom is here and in the Islamic system, what the US incites you to do is slavery, the US wants the woman as an identityless slave. The life of women in the Islamic system is honorable."
He also said: "The European Union has been acting like an American colony for at least a decade and they do whatever America says. Those who constantly support the Zionist regime that kills women and children are at the forefront of human rights violations."
