Iran Press/ Iran News: Delivering a speech on Friday for a group of people in Southern Khorasan Province, eastern Iran, Ebrahim Raisi said the fact that the enemy cannot invade Iran despite all conspiracies and seditions was because of the Iranian people's presence in different political and social fields.
Raisi referred to the termination of Iran's membership in the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) and said that according to the official statistics of the western media, hundreds of women are killed by the US police every year.
He noted: "The US and its allies cannot support the human rights, a clear example which is the violation of the rights of the innocent people in Palestine and Yemen."
Stressing that the ISIS terrorist group was created by the West, the Iranian president said the Iranian people chanted "Down with USA" because the US supported the killing of innocent people, including the terrorist attack in Shiraz (south of Iran).
Fifteen pilgrims, including a woman and two children, lost their lives and at least 40 others were wounded as a heavily-armed terrorist attacked the popular shrine in Iran’s southwestern province. The attack occurred at around 5:45 p.m. local time (1415 GMT) on Wednesday, just before the evening prayers.
He stressed that the advancement string of Iran would not be stopped and pointed out: " The country and its cities were developed by the men and women of the Islamic Republic of Iran and it will continue to be so from now on. We have no hope or expectation from foreigners."
