Tehran (IP) – A spokesman for Iranian customs announced the 190% growth in Iran-Tajikistan trade.

Iran PressIran news: Morteza Emadi stated that Iran and Tajikistan's trade in the first 8 months of this [Iranian] year passed 140 million dollars, which increased by 151% in weight and 190% in value compared to the same period last year.

Petrochemical materials, glass wool, dried fruits, aquatic feed, and agricultural and horticultural products were among the goods exported from Iran to Tajikistan.

He noted that the total volume of trade between Iran and Tajikistan in the eight months of [Iranian year] 1401 reached 146,531 tons of goods in terms of weight and 140,498,455 dollars in terms of value.

The spokesman of Iranian customs also pointed out that the number of Iranian goods exported to Tajikistan was 130,069 tons of goods worth 93,100,826 dollars.
