Baghdad (IP) – Iraqi authorities announced Sunday that four ISIS elements had been killed in the northern province of Nineveh.

Iran PressMiddle East: Media Office of the Iraqi army announced in a statement that one of the Iraqi citizens saw the terrorists lurking on his farm and started shooting at them with an AK47 and managed to kill two of the terrorists.

The statement added that after the shooting, terrorist elements fired an RPG shell at the Iraqi citizen, which led to his martyrdom.

Then, ISIS terrorists attempted to escape, but with the timely intervention of Iraq’s PMU forces, the two other ISIS elements were surrounded and a total of four terrorists were killed.

Iraqi security forces noted that two of the terrorists had tied explosive belts and bombs on themselves and intended to conduct terrorist operations in Nineveh Province.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's Counter Terrorism Department announced on Friday that security forces had killed four ISIS elements on the border with Afghanistan.

The terrorists were involved in terror activities, targeted killings, bomb explosions, and attacks on security forces.
