Thailand (IP) - Iranian athletes snatched two golds and four bronzes in the 2022 Asian Rowing Championship.

Iran PressAsia: In the competitions held in Thailand's Pattaya and kicked off last week, 259 athletes participated from 18 countries; 169 senior athletes and 90 junior ones.

Iran has participated in the event in women's and men's sections.

Zeinab Norouzi, Kimia Zarei, Shkiba Voghoufi, and Maryam Omidi Parsa, who took part in the quad scull item, won bronze after competing with rivals from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines. 

In men's heavy single scull item, Amirhossein Mahmoudpour snatched bronze, and in the women's section, Nazanin Mollaee won the gold medal.

Abolfazl Satvati - Amirreza Abdali and Hamidreza Rezvani – Shirzad Ghaderi achieved bronze medals in the men's double scull item.

In the women's double scull item, Mahsa Javar and Nazanin Mollaee also managed to snatch the gold medal.
