Iran Press/ Middle East: About 90 companies producing food, packaging and related industries from Iran are present at the exhibition and are showcasing their latest achievements.
The head of the Iraqi Kurdistan Regional Trade Administration, the governor and director of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce, the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Erbil, and a number of members of the Iraqi Regional Parliament attended the opening ceremony on Tuesday.
The people of the Kurdistan region of Iraq welcomed the international exhibition of food and packaging industries in Erbil.
Consul General of Iran in Erbil Nasrallah Rashnoudi stated that the presence of Iranian companies in the exhibition is a step in the direction of interaction and increasing recognition of the needs of consumers in international markets.
He noted that such exhibitions are a good opportunity to expand economic cooperation and the interaction of companies in the field of trade and export of products.
