Iran Press/ Iran News: According to Shada, Hossein Kakhki, the Director General of the International Customs Cooperation Office of Iran, stated: "This year (starting from March 20, 2022), 10 documents have been signed with the customs offices of other countries for cooperation.
The Republic of Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkmenistan, China, and Thailand, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on trilateral transit cooperation between Iran, the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Russia, and the agreement between economic operators with Bolivia are among the documents signed by IRICA.
The Director General of the International Customs Cooperation Office of Iran says: "The Customs document between Iranian and Russian economic operators, which was signed during the visit of the head of Iran's Customs to Russia, made it possible to set up the facilitated customs corridor.
Speaking about the signing of the tripartite transit MoU between Iran, Russia, and the Republic of Azerbaijan, he noted: "The MoU will facilitate the transit from the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia, which will lead to the development of Iran's foreign trade with Russia."
"Signing Customs documents with other countries, in addition to developing diplomacy and establishing close relations with the Customs of the countries will promote joint cooperation in various fields and the exchange of Customs information," Kakhki added.
