Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister called the anti-Iran resolution passed by the IAEA Board of Governors an unconstructive move and warned that Iran will take effective counter-measures and adhere to international laws.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, in a joint presser with his Omani counterpart Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, referred to the anti-Iran resolution passed recently by the IAEA Board of Governors, saying: "The International Atomic Energy Agency took an unproductive action at the end of last week, while two weeks ago a delegation of Foreign Ministry and Atomic Energy Organization of Iran officials traveled to Vienna and agreed on stronger cooperation between the IAEA and Iran.

Amir-Abdollahian further criticized the approach taken by the Agency to exert pressure and continue the extremely hypocritical policy.

"The United States of America and three European countries at once put the resolution against the Islamic Republic of Iran on the table and once again abused the agency," he added.

"We will take effective countermeasures and adhere to our international laws and will continue to do so," Amir-Abdollahian warned.
