Tehran(IP)- Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement on Monday that none of the Iranian citizens were killed in the Istanbul explosion.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press, based on the information received from the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Türkiye, the officials in the consular section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye have informed that there were no Iranian citizens among the dead in the Istanbul explosion.

The explosion of a bomb in the city of Istanbul, Türkiye, which happened on the evening of Sunday, November 13, has left six dead and 81 injured, and the condition of two injured is critical. According to Fouad Oktay, the First vice president of Türkiye, this terrorist incident was carried out by a female suicide bomber.

Some Turkish media have attributed the explosion to elements of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK); however, no group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
