Iran's foreign ministry spokesman strongly condemned this action in response to the terrorist explosion incident in Istanbul, Turkey, on Monday morning.

Iran PressIran News: Iran's Foreign Minister, Nasser Kanani said: Tehran condemns any terrorist act that targets the security of the country and the Turkish nation.

While asking for God's forgiveness for the dead and wishing recovery for the injured, Kanani expressed his sympathy for the Turkish government and the nation, especially the families of the victims.

On Sunday evening, 6 people were killed and 81 were injured as a result of a terrorist act (explosion on Esteghlal Street overlooking Taksim Square in Istanbul).

Turkey's Vice President Fuad Oktay said on Sunday evening that a woman was the suicide bomber in Istanbul.

In response to this incident, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that he will not surrender to terrorists.
