Dushanbe (IP) - Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said that interaction with neighboring countries in cultural, economic, and political sectors is on the agenda of the Iranian government.

Iran PressAsia: Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili stated in Dushanb that the cultural week of Iran is being held in Tajikistan one month after the cultural week of Tajikistan was held in three cities of Iran.

The Iranian minister emphasized that Iran's goal is to move in the direction of cultural, historical, heritage and identity commonalities with Tajikistan and this path will lead to the ever-increasing expansion of relations.

Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili stated that holding the cultural week of Iran and Tajikistan after 14 years hiatus shows that the two countries have a serious determination to expand relations and cooperation.

The cultural week of the Islamic Republic of Iran is being held in Tajikistan at the same time as the Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaeili is visiting Dushanbe.
