Iran Press/ Iran news: Second Brigadier-General Mohammad Salehi stated on Tuesday that following a comprehensive intelligence operation, the provincial police forces identified an arms smuggling gang that transferred a weapons shipment into the province in collaboration with some smugglers from one of the countries in the region.
He highlighted that the police identified the smuggler's hideout and the location of the weapon shipment depot in Shadegan city.
Accordingly, the gang leader was arrested, and ten handguns and 10,900 cartridges were also confiscated.
