Tajikistan (IP) - The ceremony of Iran's Culture Week was inaugurated in Tajikistan with the presence of the two countries' Ministers of Culture.

Iran PressAsia: The ceremony opened on Monday and was participated by a large group of Iranian residents in Tajikistan along with the ambassadors of some countries in Dushanbe. 

There, in the event, more than 50 Iranian artists present their artworks in such areas as painting, calligraphy, music, miniature painting, and Pahlavani arts. 

In addition to Dushanbe, the Iranian cultural programs will be performed in other Tajik cities, including Khujand, Bactria, and Samarkand. Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic of Iran's Week of Film will kick off its work by screening some Iranian films. 

Iran's Minister of Culture Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili, along with his companions, arrived in Tajikistan on Sunday and was welcomed by his Tajik counterpart Davlatzoda Zulfiya.
