Dushanbe (IP) – In the meeting with his Iranian counterpart in Dushanbe, the Minister of Culture of Tajikistan underlined enhancing Iran-Tajikistan ties, considering the cultural commonalities of the two countries.

Iran PressAsia: In a meeting with Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad-Mahdi Esmaili, Zulfiya Davlatzoda considered Iran's cultural week in Tajikistan as important in expanding cultural relations between the two countries. 

The meeting was held in the building of the National Library of Tajikistan.

She pointed out that Radio Farhang of Tajikistan is ready to exchange cultural programs with Iran.

In the meeting, Esmaili thanked the officials and people of the Republic of Tajikistan for their hospitality and evaluated the cultural week of Tajikistan in Iran as a diverse and unique program.

He added that the presidents of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Tajikistan always underline cementing ties between the two countries in all fields.

He called all-round interactions with friendly countries as one of Iran's priorities and announced the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance's readiness to hold joint book exhibitions and theater and music festivals.
