Tehran (IP) – Iran-Türkiye trade during the past nine months has risen by 26% to reach 4.8$ billion, with Iran exporting over seven billion cubic meters of gas.

Iran PressIran News: Iran-Türkiye trade during the first nine months of the current year, 2022, grew 26% to reach 4,809,000,000 dollars, according to the Turkiye Statistics Office.

The two countries' trade balance in the same period last year (2021) was 3,799,000,000 dollars.

Türkiye's exports to Iran from January to September 2022 have risen by 11% compared to the previous year in the same period to reach 2,213,000,000 dollars.

Türkiye's imports from Iran during the first nine months of the current year also increased 43% compared with the year before to reach 2,596,000,000 dollars.

From January to April 2021, Turkiye imported 1,809,000,000 dollars of goods from Iran.

The two countries trade balance during the first nine months of 2022 has been 383 million dollars to Iran's benefit.

The Euro Stat also reported that from January to September 2022, Iran had exported more than seven billion cubic meters of gas to Türkiye.

According to the report, Iran's natural gas exports to Türkiye during the first nine months of the current year were 7,80,000,000 cubic meters, while during the same period last year, it was 7,390,000,000 cubic meters.
