Asia (IP) - The export of Iranian gas to Turkey, which was stopped last week for the maintenance of the pipeline, has been resumed.

Iran PressIran News: Turkey depends on Iran, Republic of Azerbaijan and Russia for its gas supply.

The increase in the price of energy carriers in the world, including oil and gas, has affected the price of fuel in Turkey.

Iran's gas export to Turkey was stopped for 8 days since October 3rd with a previous announcement for repair.

This action is due to the inspection and maintenance activities on the Iran-Turkey gas transmission pipeline during the 2nd to the 9th of October 2022, which was planned in advance, and it was not possible to receive gas from the Gurbulak entry point to the Turkish gas transmission network during this period.

After 8 days of the repair operation, the export of Iranian gas to Turkey resumed today (Monday) after the completion of the agreed repairs.
