Tehran (IP) – Iranian and Bulgarian foreign ministers commemorated the 125th anniversary of establishing Iran-Bulgaria diplomatic relations, calling it an excellent opportunity for broadening comprehensive ties.

Iran PressIran News: In a phone talk with his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolay Milkov, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian exchanged views about mutual relations and some regional and international developments.

The two sides agreed that the two countries ties are good, and yet the 125th anniversary of Iran-Bulgaria diplomatic relations is an excellent opportunity for further comprehensive expansion.

The two foreign ministers pointed to the various economic cooperation and expressed readiness for joint efforts to hold the 25th Iran-Bulgaria Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in the near future.

Bulgaria also agreed to play a justice-based and frank role in the IAEA regarding Iran's nuclear case.

Foreign Minister Nikolay Milkov also welcomed some of the ideas presented for returning every side to the JCPoA and expressed hope for its fast revival.
