Iran Press/ Europe: Mohammad Mokhber, Iran's first vice president, said on Thursday, October 6, during his speech at the Second Economic Forum of the Caspian littoral States: "Considering the importance of economic dimensions in the development of regional integration, this conference as a constructive initiative will strengthen the friendship and cooperation of the five Caspian littoral states."
He added: "This conference also provides a great opportunity for the public and private sectors and even the non-littoral states of the Caspian Sea so that we can all benefit from each other's economic capacities."
The first vice president stated: "The Caspian Sea, as a common heritage, has provided a suitable platform for the expansion of cooperation in various fields among the Caspian littoral states."

The First Vice President said on Thursday that Tehran is determined to create momentum in the economic and commercial cooperation of the littoral states of the Caspian Sea.
The First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that the Caspian Sea Marine Environmental Protection Convention, known as the "Tehran Convention," is a suitable legal framework for the preservation of the environment of this sea by the Caspian littoral states.
Mohammad Mokhber stated that the Caspian Sea is the common heritage of Caspian littoral states and must be preserved for future generations.
Mokhber emphasized that, unfortunately, in recent years, the water level of the Caspian Sea has decreased and the littoral countries should be committed to their obligations in the framework of the Tehran Convention in order to use the resources of this sea.
The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran also said that Tehran is determined to create momentum in the economic and commercial cooperation of the littoral states of the Caspian Sea.
In the Second Caspian Economic Forum in Moscow, Mokhber proposed to develop and implement a special initiative in monetary, banking and financial development with Caspian Littoral states.
The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran also proposed to form a committee for the cooperation of oil, gas and oil products of the countries bordering the Caspian Sea.
The second Caspian Economic Forum was held in Moscow on Wednesday and Thursday (October 5th and 6th) in the presence of Mohammad Mokhber, the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the prime ministers of the four littoral states of Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Russia.
The first version of the event was held in 2019 in Turkmenistan in the presence of five member countries.
The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran also met and conferred with some of the prime ministers of the countries participating in the second Caspian Economic Forum, including the Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
