Moscow (IP)- The Iranian first vice president stressed that the interests of Iran and Russia depend on efforts to implement the agreements between the two countries.

Iran PressEurope: Mohammed Mokhbar", the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a meeting with "Igor Levitin," the aide to the Russian president in Moscow on Wednesday evening, emphasized the need for the strict implementation of the agreements between Tehran and Moscow and stated that the interests of the governments and nations of Iran and Russia depend on efforts for the implementation of the agreements made between the two countries.

"Mohammad Mokhber," the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arrived in Moscow, on Wednesday, as the head of a high-ranking political-economic delegation to participate and give a speech at The Second Caspian Economic Forum (CEF), as well as to meet and talk with Russian officials.

"Mokhber," during the meeting with "Igor Levitin," the aide to the President of Russia, also emphasized the expansion of cooperation between the two countries in various fields and said:

"The Rasht-Astara route and the development of banking cooperation to facilitate the activities of businessmen and the private sector are important. It will be effective in improving the level of cooperation between Tehran and Moscow."

Iran's VP to head for Moscow this week

The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that a suitable mechanism has been provided for the implementation of bilateral agreements and added that for the development of banking cooperation between the two countries, a detailed and timed plan should be developed and followed up with seriousness.

In this meeting, the aide to the Russian president also stated that the managers of the largest Russian commercial companies had gathered to negotiate with the high-ranking Iranian delegation to develop commercial and economic cooperation and announced Moscow's serious efforts to implement the agreements with Tehran.

Referring to the willingness of Russian energy companies to invest and cooperate in Iran, Igor Levitin added that Russian President Vladimir Putin also emphasizes the implementation of agreements between the two countries. 

Iranian Veep arrives in Moscow

The first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran visited Russia at the invitation of the Prime Minister of this country, Mikhail Mishustin; in addition to his speech at the Second Caspian Economic Forum, he is scheduled to meet with a number of his counterparts and to consult officials participating in this summit.

Iran's ministers of economic affairs and finance, oil, and agricultural jihad are accompanying the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran on this trip.

As two neighbors, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia share strategic interests in various fields, mainly economic, military, and security relations, as well as regional and international issues such as confronting the unilateralism of the United States, and this has been one of the main factors of the close cooperation between the two sides in recent years.
