Tehran(IP) - Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs to I.R. Iran President said that the vice President is scheduled to travel to Moscow this week to attend the second Caspian Economic Forum.

Iran PressIran News: Deputy Chief of Staff for Political Affairs to Iran's President, Mohamad Jamshidi, stated that the Caspian Economic Forum will be held at the invitation of Russia's Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin and in the presence of the prime ministers of the Caspian coastal countries.

The states, including Iran, Russia, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and the Republic of Azerbaijan as five neighbors will negotiate and interact with each other bilaterally and multilaterally on oil and gas, energy, transportation, science, environment and agriculture issues.

He noted: "A number of ministers and executive officials will accompany Mohammad Mokhber, Iran's first Vice President, in this trip, and this delegation will seek solutions to expand bilateral economic cooperation and remove existing obstacles in this conference.

Jamshidi stated that 12 expert roundtables will be held in this meeting in the presence of officials and experts from the member states, adding: "The exchange of economic and commercial information in order to meet mutual needs amid sanctions, attract investment from these countries in Iran's oil, gas and petrochemical industries, develop and complete the connections of the countries along the Caspian Sea in rail and road sectors, develop shipping between ports, Clearing goods, setting up electricity and gas transmission lines, historical-cultural cooperation, creating a common bank and using national currencies in commercial exchanges, facilitating businessmen's visas and canceling drivers' visas, exporting agricultural products and extraterritorial cultivation, and cleaning the environment of the sea and beaches together with the environment and development of tourism are among the topics that the high-ranking delegation of the Islamic Republic will focus on in this conference."
