Tehran (IP) – Deputy Head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization for promoting commercial markets affairs says the volume of Iran-Eastern Africa trade has doubled during the first five months of the current Iranian year.

Iran PressIran news: Ahmad-Reza Alaie Tabatabaie pointed to the measures taken to solve infrastructural problems, like creating logistic lines between Iran and Oman.

He referred to free trade with Pakistan and promised positive growth in this respect in the coming months.

The deputy head of Iran's Trade Promotion Organization for promoting commercial markets affairs highlighted that the volume of trade with Africa in five months this (Iranian) year has been equal to the total amount of exports to Africa last year.
