Tehran (IP) - The Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) stressed that revenge for the people, including security forces, who were martyred on Black Friday, September 30, by the rioters in Zahedan.

Iran PressIran news: Following a terrorist attack on a police station in Zahedan city, the capital of Sistan and Baluchistan province, southeast of Iran, on Friday, the Iranian security and law enforcement responded quickly, and the terrorist attack at Friday prayers was neutralized.

The incident came as some rioters have created unrest in Iran and are committing acts of sabotage under the pretext of the death of a girl, Mahsa Amini. 

Major General Hossein Salami extended condolences over the tragic incident and ensured that the fight against the foreign-backed mercenaries would be continued. 

General Salami appreciated the local people of Zahedan for their cooperation with the police and other security forces. 

According to Hussein Modarres Khiabani, the Governor of Sistan and Baluchistan province, the number of casualties in this incident is 21 dead and 20 injured.

In the Friday heavy clashes, Seyyed Ali Mousavi, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps(IRGC) intelligence commander of Sistan and Baluchistan Province, was martyred while on duty to protect people's lives.

The rioters who instigated the brawl in some parts of the country, including Tehran, are destroying the public properties of the Iranian nation, injuring police officers, and even attacking the hospitals' vehicles, the ambulances.

The rebels even desecrated the Islamic sanctities, including the holy Quran; they burnt Quran, set fire to the martyrs' pictures, and insulted Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
