Tehran (IP) - The rioters, backed and provoked by oppositions outside Iran, destroyed 72 ambulances in the recent unrest in the country.

Iran PressIran News: Staging rallies in different parts of the country, the Iranian people showed their anger toward the rioters' murdering police forces and damaging public properties.

The unrest broke out under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran. 

The Iranian Health Minister Bahram Einollahi said the country is now in need of ambulances and that the rioters destroyed 72 ambulances.

Speaking in Mashad, Einollahi noted: "Ambulance is supposed to take any injured person to hospitals, so attacking ambulances shows that the rioters do not even have mercy on themselves." 

The anti-Iranian media and bloggers affiliated with the Western states have been publishing fake news and exacerbating the unrest in Iran.  

The rebels even desecrated the Islamic sanctities, including the holy Quran; they burnt Quran, set fire to the martyrs' pictures, and insulted Prophet Mohammad(PBUH).
