The foreign ministers of Iran and Sri Lanka discussed the increase in bilateral trade exchanges.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, who is in New York to attend the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabri on Saturday and exchanged views on expanding economic relations between the two countries.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, who traveled to New York with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, to participate in the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations, is still in this city, to promote the active diplomacy of the Iranian government on the sideline of the United Nations General Assembly. 219
