Iranian Greco-Roman wrestler snatched a silver medal at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, on Tuesday.

Iran PressIran News: Overcome by his Turkish rival Riza Kayaalp, Amin Mirzazadeh failed to snatch the gold medal and sufficed for the silver medal in the men's Greco-Roman wrestling in the 130kg weight category.

Turkiye's Kayaalp also collected his fifth world championship gold medal.

Romanian Alin Alexuc-Ciurariu and Mantas Knystautas from Lithuania won the bronze medals in the 130kg weight category, standing the third place.

Iran finished the competition with two silvers and one bronze.

In the 67kg weight category, Mohammadreza Geraei grabbed silver, and Mohammadhadi Saravai also seized a bronze in the 97kg.
