Tehran (IP)- Mohammed Ghasem Nazer was appointed as the new chief executive officer of the National Museum of Islamic Revolution on Sunday.

Iran PressIran news: National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense, to acquaint domestic and foreign audiences, especially the younger generation and future generations, with the culture and values of the Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense (Iran–Iraq War)*, established by the Municipality of Tehran in 2010 with an area of 220,000 square meters.

Attending the ceremony, the Head of the foundation for the preservation of Sacred Defense works and values, Brigadier General Bahman Kargar, stressed that we must build more museums like Sacred Defense to introduce Iranian martyr's heroism to all.

Kargar noted: "The National Museum of the Islamic Revolution and Sacred Defense should hosts all sorts of thoughts; it is people's right to get acquainted with the country's golden age."

He added, "The history of Iranian resistance must be recalled via this museum."

Kargar concluded: "Cyberspace is the best place to get the young generation familiarised with Holy Defense and its history."
