Iran Press/ Iran news: Netherlands' Ambassador to Tehran Frank Mullen visited on Tuesday the Food Health Center in Tehran's Shahid Beheshti Unversity to expand cooperation in the healthy food area.
ِDuring the visit, Bahram Daraei said: "Good cooperation is being carried out with Wageningen University and Research center (WUR), to study the effect of healthy food in preventing the occurrence of non-communicable diseases, especially infertility, and the causes of cancer in unhealthy foods." He concluded that Iran and Netherlands would ink MoU based on technology.
Also attending the event, the President of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Alireza Zali, stated that the cooperation between Wageningen University & Research – WUR and the Food Health Center is acceptable.

Zali added: Food safety and promoting cooperation with Wageningen University & Research – WUR in technical knowledge, food authentication, and identification of halal meat fields are on the agenda of Iran and the Netherlands.
He said that evaluating the authenticity of pesticides and the healthfulness of milk and saffron are among the joint projects with Wageningen University in the Netherlands and Shahid Beheshti University.
