Budapest (IP) – The office for developing commercial and international relations of Iran's House of Industry, Mine, and Trade has been established in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Iran PressEurope: On the sidelines of the ceremony, Iran's Ambassador to Hungary, Hamidreza Nafez-Arefi, referred to the good relations between Iran and Hungary and stated that the first joint meeting of Iranian and Hungarian business people was successfully held.

He highlighted that one of the goals of the Iranian government is close cooperation between the private economic sectors of the two countries, and in the six months of the current Iranian year, compared to the same period last year, the volume of economic relations between Iran and Hungary has increased by 57%.

Arman Khaleghi, the Deputy Secretary-General of the Iranian House of Industry, Mine and Trade, said that the purpose of establishing the overseas offices of the Iranian House of Industry is to develop and facilitate the economic relations of the private sector with other countries and to expand the ties of Iranian business people and industrialists with business people of different states of the world.

He noted that Hungary has a growing economy among European countries, adding that reports show that Hungary is in 57th place in the world economy.

He pointed out that due to the geostrategic position of Hungary in the heart of Central Europe, this country is considered the gateway to Europe.
